Get Physical and Fabio Giannelli already have a history. His haunting track ‘Mercury Star’ was chosen to feature on their ‘Full Body Workout Vol. 9’ earlier this year.

It seems he impressed enough, that the label is set to release his latest EP, ‘Let The Spirit Sing’.

Having previously been supported by the likes of Luciano, Matthias Kaden, Tiefschwarz and many more, this Italian seems to know the business of solid track releases.

The title track of the EP throws up again the haunting style that Fabio has previously been known for. A creepy vocal is overlaid on a stepping bass beat, culminating in an impressively awesome effect.

‘Swinging Pearls’ continues the haunting theme, but this time throwing in a wide spectrum of extra sound, with synth strikes and drops.  Impressive indeed.

This cannot be matched however, to the delights of the final track – ‘Maintain’. Thick from the outset, this track is rigorous in its attempt to bowl over the listener. A compact vocal adds to the overall established nature of the effort, with piano riffs occasionally perking up the true dark, deep house bomb.

This EP is a true undiscovered gem. The name Fabio Giannelli might not stir massive interest to a general house purveyor, but it seriously should.
