There’s no doubt that Hot Creations is one of the hottest labels in House music right now and with their latest release they bring us a three track EP brimming with raw grooves courtesy of new talent wAFF, this release will no doubt kick start what is set to be a huge summer for the rising star.

Still only in his early 20’s, UK based producer wAFF is co-founder of long established club night Koala in Hull, which has played host to some of the best names in the industry. With an already illustrious DJ career under his belt wAFF is sure to step up to the next level with his productions already being championed by Hot Creations label head man Jamie Jones.

First up “Jo Johnson” lures you in to a false sense of security with its crisp raw drums and rolling bass line encapsulated by a whispering vocal. There’s a nice rapid build and bubbling energy which is complemented further by another vocal loop. Before you know it a full on Balearic vibe has ensued leading the way to the soundtrack of the summer. All in all a real nice flavour of jacking house.

“Jeyda” veers towards the deeper side of things creating a dreamy atmosphere with sharp and poignant melodic chords which combine with sparkling percussion notes; meanwhile the trademark wAFF kick drum keeps the track flowing along at a comfortable speed.

Closing the EP is title track “Rainbows”, definitely the strongest track on the EP and is sure to twist heads this summer with its soaring synth which grips you from the outset. The trippy vocal loop and ever present percussive shakes lead to a monumental break down which is sure to tear any roof off. This is definitely one to look out for.

On the whole this is a stunning EP full of peak time energy with real deep edges bound to create chaos on the dance floor. It’s only a matter of time before wAFF is given the recognition he deserves and will soon be globally admired.
